Delete your data
Awake has no accounts and no servers, so there is nothing of yours held anywhere for someone else to erase. Everything the app knows lives in its own storage on your phone, and you can wipe all of it in one tap. This page explains how, and how to reach a human if you want confirmation in writing.
1. The short version
Open Awake, go to the Profile tab, and tap Clear all data. That removes your alarms, streaks, history, statistics, settings and profile from the device immediately and permanently. Uninstalling the app removes anything left.
No request, form or waiting period is involved, because there is no server-side copy of your data. Awake makes no network requests, has no analytics and has no advertising SDK. This is described in full in the privacy policy.
Deletion cannot be undone
Clearing your data wipes your streak and your challenge history along with everything else. There is no backup on our side to restore it from, because there is no our side.
2. Delete everything in the app
This is the fastest route and the one to use in almost every case.
- Open Awake.
- Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
- Scroll to the Data card at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Clear all data and confirm.
The app returns to its first-run state straight away. Any alarms you had scheduled are cancelled with the same action, so nothing will ring afterwards.
3. Delete from Android settings
You can achieve the same thing from outside the app, which is useful if you cannot open it.
- Open Android Settings, then Apps, then Awake.
- Open Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage, sometimes labelled Clear data, and confirm.
The exact wording varies between manufacturers, but every Android build has this screen.
4. Uninstall
Removing Awake deletes its private storage with it. Long-press the app icon and choose Uninstall, or remove it from Settings, Apps, Awake.
One thing to check: if Android's own backup is switched on for your device, a copy of the app's settings may sit in your personal Google Drive backup. That is a transfer between you and your backup provider, not something Awake sends anywhere, and you can remove it from Google Drive, Backups. Reinstalling with a backup present can restore old settings, so clear the data in-app first if you want a genuinely clean slate.

Two things are worth stating plainly, because people reasonably assume otherwise. Camera frames from the push-up, jumps and QR challenges are never stored, so there is nothing to delete: each frame is processed on the device and discarded. Step counts from the walk challenge are held in memory for the length of that challenge only. If you chose a profile photo, Awake stores a reference to the image in your own gallery, never a copy, and clearing the data removes the reference while leaving your photo untouched.
6. Account deletion
There is no account to delete. Awake has no sign-up, no sign-in, no email address on file and no user record on any server. Nothing you do in the app is associated with an identity, because there is no identity to associate it with.
This page exists as the deletion URL that Google Play requires every listing to publish, including listings for apps that hold nothing.
7. Requesting deletion in writing
If you would like confirmation from the developer rather than doing it yourself, or you have a question the steps above do not answer, send a request. Say which device you are using and what you would like confirmed. You will get a reply describing exactly what is and is not held, which for Awake 1.0.0 is nothing outside your own phone.

8. Retention
Awake retains nothing off the device, for any period, for any purpose. Data on your phone is kept until you delete it, which is the whole of the retention policy.
If a future version of Awake ever transmits anything, for example crash reports, this page, the privacy policy and the Play data safety declaration will all be updated before that version ships.
